Returns, Repairs, and Replacements

  1. Contact STARLAB® to discuss your repair and return needs.
  2. Upon contacting STARLAB®, a return number (RMA) will be issued if it is deemed that the equipment must be returned for either replacement or an evaluation to determine repair needs.
  3. All equipment that is sent to the STARLAB® facility for repair requires an RMA.
  4. The dome must be rolled up and placed in the duffel bag and put in a cardboard box prior to shipping. If you are shipping the projector in a cardboard box, please make sure that the projector is protected with a layer of bubble pack padding. Do not use packing peanuts, as they shift too much during shipping and handling.
  5. STARLAB® strongly recommends that you purchase insurance for the projector, dome and cylinder when shipping items back to our facility.
  6. Upon receipt of the goods in our facility, a STARLAB® technician will evaluate the equipment to determine the level of service that is required.
  7. STARLAB® offers different levels of repairs from inspection and cleaning  to tune-ups and upgrades to retrofit older model projector units with current technology.
